Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Coconut oil
  • 2 Cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 Cup crisp rice cereal
  • 5 Pitted Medjool dates
  • 3/4 Cup smooth natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 Cup coconut flour

Directions

Step 1

Now my friends it is time to talk desert and almost all of the ingredients you see in today’s recipe actually came from thrive market we’re kicking things off today with these epically scrumptious crisps chocolate peanut butter bows these are totally to die for guys and they also happen to be gluten-free dairy-free and totally vegan what makes these so amazingly crispy is actually some crisp rice cereal one of my favorite ingredients when making balls like this because you get such an awesome texture.

Step 2

Now the glue that’s going to hold these all together and our sweetener is going to be our date really important to pit your dates ahead of time because your food processor is not going to be happy if you don’t do that I’ll be adding some peanut butter and some coconut flour you could swap in some almond flour here as well if you wanted to both will work really really well just helps to give everything a nice consistency once I’ve got all of that yumminess mixed up and nice and smooth.

Step 3

For Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes, I’m going to transfer it into a bowl and then I am going to stir in my crisp rice cereal you could do this with a spoon but I have to be honest with you guys the best way to do this is with your hands cuz obviously, that mixture is nice and thick now crispier as far as I’m concerned the better and then I’ll simply roll it into 1-inch balls and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet this would be a wonderful job if you’ve got kids in the house the great part is this mixture is completely cooked already so they can lick the bowl no problem.

Step 4

Then I’m going to get these into the freezer for between 20 and 30 minutes the reason I do this is because we’re actually going to be rolling these in some melted chocolate and of course if they’re frozen they’re less likely to melt when they hit that heated chocolate always really important to think about once your peanut butter balls are just about ready it is time to prepare it your chocolate.

Step 5

Now for Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes, I am using some dark chocolate chips and I’m just going to be mixing them with a touch of coconut oil which is going to help give a nice texture to my chocolate I’m going to melt these together using a double boiler which is basically just a heatproof glass bowl sitting on top of about 1 inch of simmering water and I’m just going to gently stir my dark chocolate chips until everything is nice and smooth

Step 6

Then I can roll each of my frozen peanut butter balls in the chocolate until they are well coated and I’ll just transfer them back to the same parchment-lined baking sheet to allow them to cool just before cept I always recommend adding just a touch of sea salt to the tops totally an optional step but what you end up with is like these little delicious magical Lay’s chocolate on my trade.

Chocolate Chickpea Brownies

Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes

Next for even more chocolate goodness we’re making some brownies guys but not just any brownies these are at my decadent double chocolate chick pea brownies the not so secret ingredient being chickpeas now I know that might sound a little crazy but trust me you can’t knock it until you guys tried it these brownies are killer and using chickpeas instead of traditional all-purpose flour keeps them gluten free plus they’ve got fiber and protein what’s not to like

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 15-oz can chickpeas, Drained and Rinsed
  • 2/3 Almond Butter
  • 1/2 Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla Extract
  • 1/3 Cup Cocao Powder
  • 1/4 Cup Almond Flour

Directions

Step 1

For this recipe once again I’ll be using my food processor I’m starting by adding my cooked chickpeas which I have drained and rinsed to that I’ll be adding some almond butter a little maple syrup for sweetness some cacao powder and a little bit of almond flour., now these ingredients can be really really pricey so it was nice to get them through thrive market at a significant discount

Step 2

For Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes, Next, I’ve got some vanilla extract headed in here with a little bit of baking soda and baking powder for lift and of course a little bit of salt because whenever you are baking something sweet you want to add a little bit of salt because it helps all of the flavors really come to life then I’m just going to blend all of this up on high until it is super smooth don’t hesitate to let this blend up for two-three four minutes you want to get it as smooth as you possibly can because obviously the smoother it is the smoother your brownies will be a little food processor dance for you guys there it’s been a while since I’ve danced on the channel I felt inspired just before I get this yumminess into the oven.

I wanted to add even more chocolaty goodness to this recipe so I’m actually going to be shaking in as some vegan chocolate chips I’ll stir those thoroughly and then it’s just a matter of transferring this batter into our prepared baking dish.

Step 3

Now I believe that is so very important when making brownies to properly line your dish like this I like doing it with parchment paper hung over both sides that way I can just lift my brownies out and it makes them really simple to cut if you don’t have parchment paper on hand you can just grease the dish really well with a little bit of coconut oil that will work too then you just cut them straight out of the pan into the oven this goes 350 degrees Fahrenheit for between 30 and 35 minutes and what you come out with is a gluten-free dairy-free vegan dessert that is absolutely delicious these amazing brownies are guaranteed to turn your frown e upside down.

Lime Tart Recipe

Now I have to say our final dessert is definitely the one that I am most excited about today these are my delicious lime tarts and they’re actually made with a macadamia nut crust one of my very favorite kinds of nuts.

Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1/3 Cup Agave Syrup
  • 2 Limes, Zest and Juice
  • 2/3 Avocados
  • 2/5 Cup Medjool Dates
  • 3/4 Cup Macadamia Nut
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetened Shredded Coconut

Directions

Step 1

For Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes, First, we’ll start by making our crust just going to get my few dates into my food processor and let them pulse up for a little bit just to help them turn into a bit of a paste before I add the rest of my ingredients to that I’m going to add a helping of macadamia nuts and then I’m also going to add a little bit of shredded coconut to this because obviously coconut and lime were meant to be together as the song suggests you put the lime in the coconut and spin it all the red I can never remember with the actual lyrics to that song right but you know what I’m talking about will let all of that tastiness blend together until it resembles coarse crumbs and then it will be ready to press into our tart tins.

Step 2

Traditionally when I make charts like this I have these adorable little non-stick tart shells with a little scalloped edge and the bottoms come out unfortunately for reasons I cannot explain they have absolutely disappeared in my kitchen so today I am improvising with a really great kitchen hack I’m basically using the tops of my mason jars I flip them upside down and greased them really well with a little bit of coconut oil and I’m just going to take a handful of my macadamia nut mixture and press it into the lid to create a tart shell you can see I’m leaving a little reservoir in the center because that is where our amazing filling is going to go.

Step 3

Then I’m going to get these into the freezer for between 20 and 30 minutes while those tart shells are setting we are going to work on our avocado line moose of course that all begins with some avocado to that I’ll be adding a little agave for sweetness and then I’ll just add the zest and juice of two limes to get this really incredible lime flavor.

Step 4

Once that’s all mixed up you can just transfer it either to a piping bag or a zipper bag clip off the end and then use it to fill those amazing tart shells I like adding a little pretty to the top of these with just some coconut chips and a teeny tiny wedge of lime and how adorable is this dessert adorable and deliciously edible.

I hope you guys will give all three of these awesome dessert ideas a try and if you do be sure to tweet me Instagram me or Facebook me a photo because I always love seeing your kitchen creations remember if you want to give thrive market a try for yourselves they are offering 25% off your first order and a free 30-day membership so all those details are in the description box and if you haven’t already been sure to subscribe because there is a lot more deliciousness where this came from decadent chocolate peanut butter deliciousness like this.

You are looking for a healthier way to satisfy your sweet tooth then today you have come to the right place because I have gluten free dessert ideas that are honestly nutritious enough you could actually eat them for breakfast I know that sounds hard to believe but stay with me we’re getting.

Maple Apple Crisp

Started today with this unbelievably yummy maple apple crisp and you’re not gonna believe how easy it is to put together.

Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes

Ingredients

  • 4 Apples.
  • 2 Lemon Juice.
  • 1/3 Maple Syrup.
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch.
  • 1/2 tbsp Ground Nutmeg.
  • 2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon.

Directions

Step 1

Now of course it all starts with some apples traditionally when you’re making an apple dessert you would peel your apples first but you might not know that the skins are loaded with grape fibers so I am leaving them on, in this case, it also happens to make this process just a whole lot easier you’ll notice I’m also dicing my apples up into relatively small pieces this is just going to help everything cook up a little more quickly.

Step 2

Once my apples are all chopped I’m going to transfer them into a large bowl and then I’m going to get some flavor happening in here so to do that I am going to add a nice drizzle of maple syrup you could use some honey or agave in this recipe instead-but maple syrup and apple just were meant to together trust me on this one.

Step 3

For Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes, Next, I’m going to add a good sprinkle of cinnamon to this as well as just a touch of ground nutmeg to help our apple mixture get nice and thick and syrupy during the cooking process I’m also going to be adding a couple of tablespoons of cornstarch to this if you don’t want to use cornstarch here you could use some arrowroot flour instead that is a great substitute I’m also going to be adding some lemon juice to this for a bit of moisture and sub tank I’ll just use a spoon to mix this all up until my apples are properly coated and then I’m going to transfer these into a cast-iron skillet.

Step 4

Now if you want to do this in a plain baking dish instead you definitely can just make sure whatever you’re using is oven safe.

Step 5

For Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes, Next, we’re going to turn our attention to our amazing topping for this Apple dessert it all starts with some old-fashioned rolled oats in my ball to that I’m going to be adding some chopped pecans you could really use any sort of nut in this recipe but pecans I feel like are just a perfect match for my apples in addition to my pecans I’m also going to be adding a good sprinkle of almond flour to this which is going to help bind everything together then I’m going to add a little bit of melted nut oil to this and finish it off with some maple syrup for just a touch more sweetness I’ll stir this all up until everything is well combined and then I’m just going to pour it on top of my apple mixture super easy right.

Step 6

I’ve got my oven preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and I’m going to get this entire dish right into the oven for between 35 and 45 minutes or so when this beauty comes out of the oven your apples are going to be soft and syrupy and delicious and that topping is going to be so unbelievably crisp.

Now if you want to keep this more dessert you can of course serve it up with some vanilla-flavored ice cream but if you want to enjoy this for breakfast and go ahead and use some vanilla flavored Greek yogurt instead honestly guys there is really no bad way to enjoy this it is super yummy.

Raspberry Vanilla Chia Pudding

Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes

Next another equally delicious but equally nutritious Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes, I am sharing my amazing vanilla raspberry chia pudding again this definitely could be served for breakfast if you felt so inclined.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
  • 1 Cup Raspberry
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk ( Unsweetened )
  • 1 tsp Honey

Directions

Step 1

Now I’m gonna be mixing everything up in my food processor for this recipe but you could do this in your blender exactly food processor is in my house or very uncooperative I’m gonna be mixing up everything in my food processor in this recipe but you definitely could use a blender instead if you wanted to we’re going to start by adding some raspberries to the bowl of our food processor now I’ve opted for fresh raspberries in this recipe but if you want to go ahead and use frozen both will definitely work here and frozen can be a bit more affordable.

Step 2

To that I’m going to add some milk now I’m using some almond milk here but really any milk will do Dairy Milk will be fine Hemme so i whatever makes you happy do that I’m going to be adding a little bit of honey for some sweetness as well as a nice splash of vanilla extract for that great vanilla flavor.

Step 3

Then I’ll just pop the lid on my food processor and let this blend up for between 30 seconds and a minute that’s really all it takes to get this awesome lovely pink raspberry puree I’m just going to transfer my raspberry mixture into a container and then I’m just going to be adding my chia seeds to this in this recipe I’m using white chia seeds but black tea is the would definitely work just as well depends on what you have on hand then I’ll just give this a good stir pop the lid on and get it in the refrigerator to set.

Step 4

Now the thing with chia pudding is that the longer it sets the better the texture becomes so if you have a few hours go ahead and let it set for a few hours but if you can let it set overnight it’s even better as soon as it’s set I like to transfer it into some pretty serving dishes and top it with a handful of fresh raspberries and a little bit of fresh mint now this Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes is perfectly pretty in pink and would actually be an amazing idea for Valentine’s Day.

Chocolate Almond Bars

Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes

Finally lovelies we’re whipping up some amazing chocolate almond oat bars we’re not going to believe how tasty they are and how easy they are to put together

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Roasted Almonds
  • 1 Cup Gluten-Free Oats
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Coconut
  • 1/4 Almonds Flour
  • 1/3 Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 Cup Almond Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Honey
  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil

Directions

Step 1

Now of course because their oat bars I’m sure you’re not going to be surprised to hear that they all start with some oats some old-fashioned rolled oats to be exact to my oats I am going to be adding some shredded coconut now I’m using unsweetened shredded coconut that’s really important because the sweetened kind can actually be a little too sweet for my tastes at least

Step 2

For Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes, Next I’m going to add a little almond flour to this which is going to help these bind together as well as a good helping of salt I’ll mix all my dry ingredients up to get them well combined and then it’s time to get my wet ingredients into the bowl

Step 3

First up I’ve got some almond butter headed in here if you wanted to swap in peanut butter instead definitely you can do that it’s up to you

Next, I’ve got some honey headed in here for sweetness and I’ll finish this off with another good splash of vanilla extract I’ll mix this up until it’s created a nice dough and then it’s time to just transfer it into a baking dish

Step 4

For Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes, to make these very easy to remove from the baking dish I have lined it with some parchment paper this is just gonna make your lives so much easier so don’t get this down you want to make sure that you’re spreading this mixture into a nice thin layer along the bottom of your baking dish

Step 5

At this point I will get it into the oven at 350 degrees for between 25 and 30 minutes that’s really all it takes to get it completely set then I’ll take it out of the oven and allow it to cool a little bit while I get to work on my chocolate topping I’m going to get started by melting some chocolate in a double boiler now I am using some vegan chocolate chips here and a little bit of coconut oil I’ll cook that up stirring it constantly until it’s nice and smooth and melted

Step 6

Then I’m just going to pour my chocolate mixture on top of my oat bars I’ll use my spatula to spread that chocolate out into an even layer.

Step 7

For Healthy Gluten Free Dessert Recipes, final step is optional but always delicious I am going to be adding some chopped almonds to the top of this my almonds happen to be roasted and salted which make them extra good here seriously guys I would not lead you astray as you all know we’ll get these into the refrigerator for between say 15 and 20 minutes or until that chocolate is completely set and then you can just cut them into squares and enjoy them at your leisure.
